For me, it’s not bad luck, it’s bad decisions.

@jayplemons Jan 5 Luck isn't random. It's engineered. Scott Adams breaks down how to get lucky: Expect luck to happen Go where the energy is Network rigorously Stack skills Gain experience Keep trying stuff Fail forward Try some long shots @ScottAdamsSays "If you give yourself this many opportunities for luck to find you, luck's gonna find you." The most expensive ticket thread reminded me of the kind of luck I have, again noting that both good and bad happenstances apply. This one was in my favor.
Most expensive for me was Roger Waters doing The Wall back in 2010. $300 for two tickets for stage left, other words, seats that suck. 2 weeks before the concert I got an email that my tickets had been moved, pick them up at the concert. No other details. Turns out I and my friend got moved to second row center stage. If I had a broom handle I could have tapped Roger on many occasions during the show which was phenomenal and even better than when I got to talk with Waters during a Radio KAOS concert, that was otherworldly.
