Just curious if you found something, and if so, what did you get?

sq8 turns me on big time, more so than the Cayenne, but I don't think I have the repair cost tolerance now in my 50s.
new Toyota platform is a no go for me. v8 land cruiser prices are nuts. v8 sequoia wonderful. wife has one and I had one for a time as well. spacious but easy to drive/park, etc. ours is a 19 and it will stay with us for a looong time.

Here's another vote for a Toyota Highlander. Our 2020 has been great. For the size it gets fantastic fuel mileage. The NA 6 cylinder has plenty of power and the ride is very comfortable. You can find more flashy vehicles, but I'll bet you won't find a more reliable one.

I’m a Toyota fan.
But I think the trail edition Honda pilot is nice as heck. Me, I’d find an older FJ.

I’d love the stick shift version. Not a lot of those. And the transfer case handle is cool.
