And the answer is - a Whirlpool 1.1 cu ft low profile microwave. Originally $600. Open box closeout at Best Buy for $183.99. Missing the mounting bracket. I ordered that online for about $25 shipped. Now that it's mounted, I see it's missing a grease filter on the bottom. I suppose I'll have to order one of those. I also have some wall repair to do. Might be a good time to pick out a backsplash.
Next problem. The wife is too short to see into the microwave the way it is mounted. Anyone got a lead on a taller one?
