I just bought an Electric LEAF blower!!

I'm over starting my gas version for tiny jobs. I like using it to blow out my garage. my dog seems to shed mostly there.

leaves are starting to fall also. I just got the EGO version since they had it at my local hardware store. I avoid big box hardware stores as much as possible.

I just need my neighbors to wake the heck up so I can so harass some leaves!!

I'm not anti internal combustion engines..some of my best trucks are still on gas.

tempted to wash my truck so I can pre-dry it with the blower to save on towels...

9:00am, its blow-time. eww..that was way better sounding in my head.

Great for quick patio stuff. I love mine. No broom and better results.

Looking forward to a report on battery powered blower longevity, and performance.

I’ve got a couple of Dewalt battery powered blowers, but they are for small jobs. I still use a gas powered blower, weed whacker, and auger.

I bought a battery powered (18V) Ryobi 2021. It works well.

I use my electric leaf blower after every mowing. I blow the leaves out of the garage. It has never run out of charge.

I also have an electric string trimmer. It came with a bigger battery. Both use the same charger. I like them both. I have had them for a few years.

Have had my battery Dewalt blower for several years now. It is one of the handiest tool purchases I've made.

I have a deWalt. Use it all the time. When 2 strokes are outlawed, I will mourn the loss. I have 75 trees. Now way the DeWalt can even make a small dent in that.

My son has one of the 60V models. This is impressive. I've been using a 24v DeWalt around my place for a while.

I have had the EGO blower and trimmer for 4 years. They work great and are plenty powerful enough for a typical .25 AC property with 2500 sq ft of lawn.

I also have a hand-me-down cordless Ryobi mower that is light weight, cuts grass just fine with a lot less noise. My only beef with it is 6 different sensors on a "safety circuit" that if all not perfectly aligned prevent the damn thing from running. I have needed to fiddle with and re-align these nannies too many times to be fun. Still, I don't really miss my Honda mower. No need for a 5hp machine to cut 2500 sq ft in 30 minutes.

I have two dewalts. Great for drying cars after wash just like Vash said. Battery seems to last for about 20 min. but I have never time it. There isn't a need to.

What the hell is over-starting ?

Two Echos (57V) didn't last but a few years, now on two of the EGos... they are great for blowing off a mower or your real backpack blower, or a small deck, etc.

Convient for small stuff ... I've spent over 700 now....

Gimme a pro-Stihl (no carb for small saws) blower and trimmer and chainsaws....

I have mutiples for different properties, and fresh non-E gas is alway close by.

Toys verses real beasts .... sometime ya need bofem

I hate that the state has pretty much forced me into a solution. As I've stated here before, my local non-e gas runs me $12/gal. I now have just about every EGO product made. They work fine and my wife will use 'em too (okay, the mower is all me). Have not had to replace a battery yet - that's gonna hurt.

I've had a corded blower something like 200MPH, whatever, it moves the stuff. Why I like corded is that I can use a speed setting wheel. At low it hardly makes any noise. Early blowing is not going to wake up the block. At max it sounds like an airliner.

I have Ryobi 40v stuff. Lawnmower, string trimmer, blower, chain saw. This stuff has been surprisingly good. We're on like 6 plus years on the original batteries.

I cut my grass with a gas mower but blowing clippings off sidewalks and driveway as well as doing the trimming and hedge management are all electric. And they leave nothing to be desired.

I've got the blower and the leaf vac in 40v. Blower works much better than the 18v model.

What was surprising was how much my Wife likes using the blower. She usually gets to the driveway before I do. Others have told me the same about their Wives.

We have one of those for blowing off the patio and front door/driveway area. It is nice to just grab it and go.

i dont think i need to own my gas version anymore. the EGO 56v(?) is powerful. the ability to grab it for a quick job is profound. i blew the leaves accumulating on the windshield wipers of my truck yesterday...so easy.
