Ferrari's new Testarossa

http://www.motortrend.com/news/2027-ferrari-849-testarossa-first-look-review?

Hmmm....

I doubt if I'll ever see one IRL, and it really doesn't matter what I think, really, but this view doesn't flatter...

Bleh...

stevej37 09-10-2025 06:47 PM

The front end is terrible looking.

L8Brakr 09-10-2025 06:55 PM

Why does your lowly TestaRossa look sooo much like my SP3?????

I think it looks more like a 308 tribute, especially the front end. It’s not a Testarossa without side door strakes. Yes I’m a child of the ‘80s…

herr_oberst 09-10-2025 07:17 PM

The front end is 308 below, with Daytona on the top.

The cabin reminds me of a little of a one-off P4/5 that a guy commissioned years ago at huge expense.

The new Ferraris are so freaking ugly.

The only modern supercar that I would say is really beautiful is the T.33 from Gordon Murray. The fan on the T.50 makes the rear end look cartoonish, but the front end is lovely.

Gordon Murray S1LM is the best looking supercar I've seen in a long time...

Oh yeah! I forgot about that. Beautiful. Didn't one guy buy them all? Or am I misremembering?

Is it time for Ferrari to start making retro cars? Pay tribute to when they still made sexy cars....

osidak 09-11-2025 03:47 AM

i wouldn't spend your money to buy that abomination

Shaun @ Tru6 09-11-2025 05:30 AM

To my eyes, the Roma was the last beautiful car Ferrari made and think the design will stand the test of time.

But when was the last iconic Ferrari made? Testarossa & 512 TR. 355.

Some things cannot be improved upon.........

The new one is ugly and I don't see why they have to keep recycling the names.

Doesn't matter, I quit Ferrari years ago so I'll never again be a customer and therefore my opinion means nada.

flipper35 09-11-2025 09:48 AM

If they want to do Retro, do a proper Stratos powered by Ferrari.

Zeke 09-11-2025 10:29 AM

I could do that. It would look better if the gap was filled in, even with just a mesh grill or the classic Ferrari grid grill of many years. It would take a lot of work to not to make it worse, though.
