My favorite track was prolly Laguna because we did not get to race there every year. If we did it was PRC attending a non NASA event for a race group. Sears Point we did 3x a year, so LS was always a treat. Did a number of track days there though over the years.
All fun and games in this video until the last couple laps. As best I can recall I qualified 5th or 6th and did not pass and was not passed the entire race. Don't know if I could have withstood another lap though spending more time in the mirror than looking out front the last couple laps . Good, good times.
We raced the 5 at Big Willow with VARA a couple weeks ago.
New engine and got the gearing perfect with a new lightweight 3.90 ring and pinion.
Chased hard to detect minor oil leaks Friday and Saturday.
Ran 1.22 during both qualifiers.
Having fun vintage racing and enjoying the challenge of maintaining and racing these old race cars.
5 is scheduled for 2 races at Big Willow and 1 race at Laguna Seca in 2026.
The 10 car will be raced at the Long Beach Grand Prix and the Rolex Reunion in 2026.
