Kids in school in Nova Scotia learn about the devastation of the Halifax explosion. The supplies and aid on the train from Boston helped many survive.
My mother grew up about 90 miles from Halifax. They heard the noise of the explosion in her community but had no idea what it was for a couple of days. There are some pretty long memories. Thank you to the good people of Boston. Merry Christmas.
