Gas fireplace remote control issue
My remote to my gas fireplace stopped working so I poked around. I found that a particular switch was faulty
On the top edge it says 7A and 05 Front says 125-250VAC .1A250~p40T885E4 The p could be a symbol versus a letter. The switch size is Approx 1” long 1/2” wide Green press button on top 2 holes on the face I believe 3 electric prongs but not sure due to condition of switch. |

A photo would be nice, particularly if it showed the logo of the company that made it, to help narrow things down a little.

IIRC the remote switch for your fireplace is supposed to be rated for DC; sometimes if someone is in a hurry they will throw an ac-rated switch in there and it will work for quite a while until it doesn't.

Thanks for the responses. I have issues trying to upload pictures sometimes.
Anyhow… I put picture in AI and It found store to buy from. Done. |

That switch was the switch that came with the unit 10-15 years ago. Never serviced.
