Those ancients are great. Ancient and really old coins are tremendous value in terms of interesting objects you can reasonably buy.
I think a lot people have set their hold price to 100$. Id sell at $99 or wait out the transient if it hits that. Not sure the exact strategy but I suspect the when it breaks 3 digits buy back as a percentage of spot will be at a minimum. |

I thought the algorithms would signal a sell order at 100. too but it seems to be maintaining

Its the buy price for physical at shops I thought would drift farther from spot at 100$. I feel that a lot of people will head to their LCS this week and they will get (further) overwhelmed.
Is it more insulting to get a 75$ offer for eagles at $100 spot or 70$ offer at 75 spot? I think many are practical and just care about the number, but my guess is some outrage for low offers. I don't have any hypothesis for paper/market/spot price changes. Of course the reality is anyones guess just fun to speculate. |
I don't see the low ball offers as outrageous or insulting but rather an indication that the market is discombobulated. The price has risen too fast for the market to keep up. Can't guess when but now is not the time to sell. I'm trading a couple of monster boxes for gold though. It may be too early logically but the GSR has dropped below 50-1 and I'm sticking to plan, and it will be good for peace of mind too. What's happening has been mind spinning
