If those tail lights are original, I'd say it's a '62 or '63. Except for a few small details, those two years are almost identical.

By the way, I sold my Hotrod a few months ago, so this will keep me a bit busy for a while. not sure if I mentioned that before
As to the VW it's got 2 carbs and the engine is a 1776, body is great but still needs some tlc |

Reminds me of my '65 from years ago. I put a 1776 in it and really loved it. Good score! I remember when you were going to let your hot rod go. Sometimes it's nice to start with a clean slate.
