Based on a lot of reading I’m going to change my RX8 to 20W-50 Valvoline Racing VR1 this weekend, as it’s due anyway. The non-synthetic oil burns cleaner in the rotary and it has higher levels of zinc which are recommended in these cars.

The only oil I won't run in the Cobra is Valvoline. The only one that lost pressure under hard use.
