Watched an old twilight zone...great episode. But darned if the "rear engine" (?) car as described doesn't stump me. Maybe a sporty renault dauphine variant? It starts at around 6 minutes in for the car view...

Okay, did a search...think it was a 1960 Caravelle....thanks. my old eyes couldn't read the fender..
