I saw something on the news the week saying saying the average price of a new car is close to $50,000

I gotta figure it is the nanny state Crap the Government is forcing manufacturers to keep adding the cars.

People must be buying cheaper cars, last year I think the average new car price was something like $52k. My Ram has 102k and I’d love to get a new one but damn, who can afford this stuff?

I always image a bunch of politicians living DC, NY Boston, LA and mega cities with subways and useful mass transit, and they almost never drive. The same idiots that thought the 55 MPH national speed limit made sense.

The only good thing of the national 55 limit is I really enjoy deep down rolling past a state trooper at 80 MPH (legal limit!) while my radar detector is telling me his radar is on. All these years later, and I still get a thrill.

I suspect there will be YouTube videos on how to disable that kill switch.
