That looks like it was a LOT of fun.
How do you think they keep track of their own plane when they all look alike?

I imagine tweaking the controls so their plane does something unique like dive or rise quickly, turn a wing...stuff like that.

Here is my collection of what us R/C pilots call "foamies", injection molded styrofoam construction "almost ready to fly" kits. I have the smaller Gee Bee, probably a 10" to 12" wingspan. A notably difficult model to fly, even with modern onboard gyro stabilization and all of that. The one meter version shown in the video would, I'm sure, be much easier. It would be about the size of my Cub and larger Pitts S1.
