Rest in Peace, Dolly. Your voice was most likely as close as I'll ever come to hearing an angel sing.

dang. I drove past her face on a billboard with the text, "find the good in everybody".
I always thought that was a great message.

She was a great woman and inspiration for how to live a great life and give others great lives. Anyone can do it. You just have to.

Godspeed Dolly.....
She was an American icon. And 100% class. I'll always remember her for her legendary appearances with Johnny Carson on The Tonight Show.

I saw her in a video she released last week regarding her health. I was really hoping she would come through her illness. Not a country fan but she appealed to everyone. She was a wonderful person.

I'm crying. Dolly has passed. To me, she was more than an idol. She was a role model. Not just in music, but in her glamour, bravery, kindness, philanthropy, and humor.
My favorite Dolly bit? Her story about the store-side bear attraction.

You didn’t need to be a fan to know what a wonderful human being she was. Kind, caring, generous and an incredible sense of humor. She was a unique celebrity that richly deserved all that life gave to her. For generations the name Dolly will be known as the one and only Dolly Parton. She made the world a better place.
