It blocks the main PP site also...which is unusual.

I was just about to clear the browsing on the laptop...and it came back on without doing it.
So..I think it might be fixed now.

ok, call your Congressman, let them know that your favorite website is slammed by AI bots from Asia, is behind a firewall and is on a dedicated server that can't keep up with AI bots that want to know about auto parts. Cloud Flare is loosing the arms race.

Yes, it is as stupid as it sounds.

I was locked out earlier. I took it as a sign. Then I reflexively clicked the icon a little later and I was in. Rmeinds me of the m?fia. I tried to get away but they pulled me back in.

Not being a techie, this sounds crazy and yet here we are.

I responded to a bunch of messages earlier, and from what I'm told we had an outage earlier which caused issues on the website and forum. It should all be cleared up now though!

rcooled- still having issues with logging in and posting on Firefox?

Lots of folks have been having to validate that they are human and having other problems for quite a while now. The site had been working perfectly for me up until a week or week-and-a-half ago. Now I occasionally get errors or get asked to confirm that I'm human or get denied and then have to refresh. I assume that the change to CF saved some money, and if that keeps the forums going, then Ok. It's a shame that it's less reliable.

For the record and just to report, I have had no sign in issues but sporadic slow downs. Once in awhile I can't load the site getting a "database" error. Can't complain about what is free.

Still can't get in on phone and laptop. Just recycles the Square like always. Months ago, I googled a past post and I get asked about my humanity still but CF takes my log-in. Book marked it. Would be nice to see it gone forever. More issues now than ever before.

Cloud Flare is basically a fire wall put in place to limit the bots and information center scrapers from clogging up the server. The bots and scrapers are really slamming a lot of forums with limited resources and virtually shutting them down. CF has different levels of security based on if it senses an attack. That is usually when you have to start proving that you are human. However the bots have figured out how to get by that often.
