Simulating or creating reality
With AI, that's going to be a massive market very soon. But for now, we have Ferrari creating a manual transmission experience with an automatic transmission.
37 minutes of truly interesting stuff. Whatever they are paying Cammisa, it's probably not enough.

Camissa does a hell of a job at car videos. I also enjoy Chris Harris, and like Randy Pobst.
Hmm, this should be interesting, gear lever and clutch pedal for an auto?

LOL! I haven't watched the whole thing. I skipped a bunch of the "history of the manual" stuff. I did at one point see a shot of one of the 50s cars being driven by Jason barefoot (not sure why, maybe that came up in some other part of the video). I'm in the miata portion and this was a very quick shot that accompanied the sound of a shift, that I assume was supposed to be a shot of Jason's feet while driving the miata. Really damn funny, girly foot for the miata driving. Nevermind the fact that it's the left foot being used on the right pedal and was supposed to be him driving in a spirited fashion.

Cool video, thanks for posting.
Very interesting move by the big-F. It's interesting that F1 to manual conversions are an "industry". And some of the tidbits about the motivation and benefits of the move, and some of the glitches were also interesting.

That ferrari is a damn good looking car, beautiful really. I'm not their target, but I'd be happy to drive one for free for a bit, LOL.

I agree, it's a masculine evolution of the feminine Roma, which is lovely IMHO.

Great video, Camisa makes some of the best car content on the internet. I’ve always felt like Ferraris should be “pretty”, and that’s the only modern one that checks the box for me. Also the V12 sounds like sex.

Stunningly beautiful car, evokes a modern Daytona.
I don't get the gate though. The same trans with paddles is cool, faster, and allows you to shift all 8 gears. Its a marketing/collector thing I suppose, but one more step away from a performance ethos. Camissa doing the AI leap from the CVT was classic though.

From my morning walk. AI is cool and I enjoy using it but nothing beats reality.
