Angela- what's the story with the car? Replica, I'm guessing... pretty awesome looking Spyder, IMHO.

Yes its a total fake - but a really cool fake. Steve and I built it (okay mostly Steve). 10.5 compression 3.2 short stroke twin-plug flat six. It could only haul more as$ if it had a trailer! :D

Random - Fire Fighter memorial on Storm King Mountain (Colorado).

When I saw that spider replica, I thought it was Angela's also. I've see her car a couple of times and it is awesome. Especially when you look past the pretty exterior and see the details. Its a really cool machine.

It's a pit bull! he probably attacked the porcupine and killed it for no reason. No sympathy here.

masraum 02-14-2008 11:32 AM

Hmm, that's a shame, regardless of the breed.

Comments: Apart from the fact that the poor pooch pictured above is incorrectly identified in the caption as a pit bull (she's actually a bull terrier), these pictures are authentic. They were originally posted by the dog's owner on a community message board on May 25, 2005. The terrier's name is Inca.

"Thousands of quills were embedded even in her tongue," her owner explained. "The vets worked for quite some time to get quills out and even still could not get them all. The one's that are left will work themselves out over time. Inca is home and on antibiotics and pain killers."

In a follow-up post dated July 13, Inca's owner reported that "she is just fine and has just the odd broken bit come out once in awhile. Other than that she is back to her old self."

Moral of the story: Dogs and porcupines don't mix.

its this typical uninformed comments that gives a breed a bad name. many dogs get into this predicament when they try to play/investigate wild animals

if you had watched Westminster dog show this week you might be surprised that some of the so called fighting dogs are actually good with children.

Staffordshire terrier for example.

looks tough but announcer stated as good with children.

that surprised me, but my neighbor has 2 Staffordshire/great Dane mix dogs
they look tough and the are huge but other than picking on each other they are great dogs. seem to know the limits when they play with my Aussie that is 70+lbs smaller. they actually let him tackle them when they get to play together. that is if they don't get loose and run down the block almost as fast as a greyhound. but they just like to run, they aren't after anyone. big giant babies like their great Dane father seems to be.

lousy owners that really should have any dog are the ones that perpetuate the myths.

Question, has anyone here actually read OT form rules and guidelines? As in:

Save some bandwidth!

Also: there is no need to include a picture in a quote - just do the following:

That's a hot car, man!

As in, do we really need to repost the pic of the dog with the porcupine quills a half dozen times?

Please note, this is not a complaint about the skanky ho pics... please feel free to mimic the Honda civic forms and post lots of skanky ho pics.

Carry on, carry on.
