I went on myspace once to see what all the fuss was about. Gawd, what a total eyesore. Between the obnoxious flashing background web sites and animations, abbreviations I don't understand and horrendous misspellings I couldn't deal with it. It was a testimony to the ADD generation that's up-and-coming right now, replete with no coherent communication skill whatsoever.
I'm VERY glad I'm happily married. I don't think I could deal with the nonsense that people in "the scene" now have to go through/put up with.
The time-suck gravitational pull of those sites makes PPOT look like nothing. :)
