Pretty sure it's not. Condensation due to low pressure or some such.

Big stab in the dark.....formation flying mishap, canopy lost due to damage, seat looks intact to me...made it back using a ground cable landing with the carrier hook...

The seat IS intact.

If in fact the seat had been fired, there would be a big telescoping rod sticking out of the cockpit...something similar to the images below.
