Those have to be in Iraq from the first Gulf War.
I remember hearing about how the Iraqis build trenches/berms to conceal their tanks...the idea being they could back up, fire a shot, and get back into concealment before it hit. They also didn't realize that our tanks were equipped with infrared sights...and we could see the heat coming off the engines regardless of the concealment.
