yep. at an autocross, earlier in the season, i had couple of guys ask me what i had done to my car. they told me that i was smoking my tires around a couple of the turns. race rubber and stage two chips are the only mods to my car.

My 'ORLLY?' was meant for the Mustang comment. This particular 944 ad was my all-time-favorite magazine ad from back in the day. So gritty and cool....

Didn't Porsche have a TV commercial with a 928 drifting past the camera in slow-mo with smoke rolling off of the rear tires? Or am I thinking of this?
