WOMBAT, common name for three species of
burrowing herbivorous (plant eating)
MARSUPIAL (Mammals that carries its young in a pouch).
Wombats have long claws that are adapted for digging, and they live in burrows, from which they emerge at night to feed on grasses and other plants. The teeth of wombats are of continuous growth, and, a single pair of chisellike incisors is found in each jaw.
Young Wombats are born singly and each is carried in its mother's pouch.

I dunno... I'm pretty sure that my 10th grade teacher was a spelling nazi, and that was way before the interwebz.

i forgot to include 'since 1991', or some such.

Christien 12-01-2011 09:21 AM

World shouldn't be capitalized, and you forgot a period. :D

Yeah, my grade school teachers were all spelling nazis. My high school teachers, too. Come to think of it, my parents always rode my ass about it, as did my university teachers. Go figure.

Sort of random:

My university teachers can't be spelling nazis, due to the fact that I could go spelling nazi on them most days if I wanted to....

There is no period on the end of your sentence.

The German pronounciation of "ie" would yield the same result as how an American says the "ei" in "weird". The German pronounciation of "ei" is like the "i" in "ice".
