Can't let this go. The USS NIMITZ is CVN 68 - first and namesake of its class. The ship outlines all show the NIMITZ for that class although it is the only one with the one projection out front. That is the ramp for the vistigial "bridle arresting gear" - the NIMITZ is the only modern carrier so equipped. I spent 10 months at sea aboard.

Thank you for the correction and for your service. D-Bag responses in green font not withstanding, it is appreciated.

I make aerial maps all the time at my job. I hate any map that is not North UP. It drive me nuts to see a customer spin the map around with south up because they "always drive into the droperty from this direction"

Not sure where all this vitriol comes from.

I'm glad to see you support your country and those that put it on the line. Your previous post certainly didn't paint that picture. I never said you were a D-Bag, but your post was chock-full of d-baggery. I see you've since deleted the post that I allude to, so kudos to you for good judgement.

Gee, thanks. Coming from a Lexus owner on a Porsche site I feel so warm, liked and fuzzy. You were out of line.
