OK, I just clicked on that Asian Defense link & things went crazy with my IE. Now I can't access either of my two email accounts. I get a message saying no address matches them. I hope it didn't hack those.

Looks like my email accounts have been hacked by that Asian Defense link. I'm running a scan & tryiing to contact MSN to try to get some help. If anybody has suggestions, they will be welcomed.

My computer just OD'd also. I just shut it all down & re-booted & everything seems fine....so far

Just finished the scan. I was able to log onto everything & sofar things seem normal. I don't think the scan actually did anything. It said it got rid of some tracking cookies. I got hacked a couple of years ago & it took a long time to get things back to normal. Hope my computer isn't harboring any malware. Carry on.

What link did you click on? From what post? I don't want to try it, but was it something I posted?

Sorry to hear about that Marv, I've been using Google Chrome as my browser and no issues (so far).

I removed the link just to be on the safe side.

I recommend running a scan with MalwareBytes (Malwarebytes : Free anti-malware download).
Anti virus programs miss a lot of malware so a cluster of scanners is advisable. I use this at work and it gets a lot that our enterprise McAfee with anti-spyware add on misses.
The free version of malwarebytes is all you really need but you need to run the scans and updates manualy.
