My mom got real mad at me when I used her iron to shrink the MonoKote to my model airplane wing. Something about melted plastic stuck to her iron made her upset.

Most kids these days just don't know the joy of an afternoon playing coboys and home-makers.
Similarly, I am shrinking dacron on my biplane wing. The 1000 watt iron I swiped from the house just would not get hot enough, so I bought a 1500 watt unit that was on clearance at the local Lowes. Paid $23.
