it has select fire it will be an M16
Semi auto version is AR15

And since it is a Windham receiver it is semi only UNLESS a LE Agency got it... which they wouldn't, since they can get milsurp M4s for cheap

I see a roll pin located just forward of the trigger pin
My memory is foggy but I believe that is the auto sear pin.
which would make it select fire

I had been in the Navy just about a year when this happened, and myself being an ejection seat technician, I could definitely appreciate the situation. The top latch mechanism on the ejection seat broke which allowed him to partially eject, luckily without firing any of the pyrotechnics - otherwise he may have been a dead man.

Nyoop... that is the hammer pivot pin.
Roll pins are the same in AR-15 as M-16.
