I had a really nice high end turntable. A Dual. I still have my old albums. I can't even fathom going back to listening to them. Snap crackle pop is for cereal. No thanks.

I guess she has one of these....
http://www.phonevault.com/images/phones/legolg.jpg Sold around 1989, it is commonly referred to as a Lego Phone - however it was made by Tyco Toys. I don't know if it was a joint venture, or if it was just Tyco Super Blocks that were mistaken for Lego blocks. I do know there were several lawsuits between the two companies. |

http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1465336254.jpg A type G handset. A couple of weeks ago I removed my office phone, which was a more-or-less modern, electronic gadget with caller ID and answering machine. In it's place is now a Western Electric 2500. I love it. A nice, loud and robust ringer. Crystal clear handset. And the thing is heavy enough to bash the skull of unwanted salesmen. And it's red. http://www.telephonearchive.com/phon...500-rc-300.jpg |
