When I was a kid, you used to be able to swim under Paradise Falls and La Barranca. I went back there a few years ago and the place just smelled of sewage. Its sad.

People still swim under Paradise Falls. It smells like sewage in the east canyon because the Comrosa Water District put in a water reclamation and treatment center. That smell is unrelated to the stream feeding Paradise Falls.
As for the Conejo Valley and Amgen...If Amgen moved it would devastate the real estate values and local economy. Amgen is an integral part of this community. Dos Vientos and other parts of Newbury Park might as well be named Amgenville.
