I have had the privilege of flying in Fat Albert during airshows. What a ride !!
http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1430054140.jpg I also have a picture of myself working on one of the Blue Angels F-18's. It is very rare for them to have anyone, who is not in their crew, touch one of their birds. I just happened to be Navy NDI qualified from my original hitch in the USN. While we were hosting them in our hangar, they had a nose gear door stick open during practice. They did not have a Navy NDI tech, so when they found out from my command that I was qualified, I got to do all the disassembly and testing of the gear door and related components. I will scan and post the picture in a little bit. So much for Army vs Navy ! |
