Thought popped into my mind as well.

It is a bit shocking that they went back to the "round" lights on the 911s after everyone complained about the 996. Then they fixed the shape of the lights for the 987 boxster and cayman, and now, it looks like they've given the 911 the lights from the boxster and cayman.
