The turbos must feed through the carbs, if they feed into the intake it would run lean (no fuel for the added air). Simpler? Better? Undoubtedly! I had never seen or heard of a SeaFury before. I always thought the P51 was the fastest piston engine plane ever made. I was wrong! Talk about power:weight, 2,480HP and only 9,000 lbs. I also figured that to be the fastest it could not have the a radial engine - wrong again.

Such a hot aircraft, one shot down a Mig-15 during the Korean War!

I hear ya, but he can't pressurize the area above the carburetors unless that's a phony injector hat. Otherwize all that compressed air would go woosh up into the atmosphere.
Like i said, I'm thinkin the turbos are M-T.
