So what you're saying is that this was done at launch rather than landing? I enjoy things that go bang, but I get nervous when I'm on the wrong end of anything that is designed to propel metal very fast... I don't know what kind of cajones are needed to put my body in line with the working end of a mortar. :eek:

He's not an Isis fighter. He appears Latino and is wearing woodland camo.
Their 'explosives expert' is an imbecile. A simple look at the impact angle tells anyone who's ever fired a mortar knows exactly what happened. Mortars go up, then come down...in a nice smooth arc. For that to have been IF, he'd have to have been laying down. Realistically, what happened is that he was kneeling/leaning over the barrel to feed it and managed to not get out of the way fast/far enough.
