What-if depiction of manned Japanese "baka" flying bombs attacking a U.S. Navy flying boat. The Consolodated Coronado was one such machine used by the U.S. Navy in the Pacific to attack shipping or enemy airplanes such as "Betty" bombers and shoot them down and they could drop bombs as well. Drawing shows a Coronado-like airplane with Martin Mars style wing floats. The Coronado's floats retracted.

Wow - thanks - that's a great explanation. I just now realized that's a Japanese sub (not American) and it's launching the planes.

This guy flew over me in So Cal a few years ago. IIRC it's a Martin. He was trying to get a contract to fight fires but I don't think he was ever able to cut through the red tape.
