Lysholm dry-screw compressor, very similar to some Fairbanks Morse compressors I worked on in my yoot (only bigger). The input shaft (closest to the worker) has 3 male lobes and turns twice as fast as the female lobed shaft. gonna hafta look that one up. never heard of a G-lader. EDIT: nopers, a G-Lader supercharger is a scroll type compressor. One scroll is stationary and the other ones moves in a way that the air cavity becomes progressively smaller and "pushes" the air along the scroll. |
