^^^^^Yeah, would'nt it be cool to drive up and park next to all the soccer moms in their Hummers if you're driving a Unimog? I've loved those trucks since I had a "Matchbox" version of one 40 years ago!;)

I have almost all of the Matchbox cars pictured above. I also have some of the green army tanks and trucks. Very cool. Mine all came in a real "matchbox". There use to be a hobby shop near my house when I was a kid. They had this round display that would spin around with all the cars in it. You'd pick the one you wanted and they would get it out from under the counter and it would be in the box.
Too cool.... |
Top garage, Ferris Beuler +1....
notice the floor are different colors in each pic. |
Anybody else here have a Lesney? I still have the Jaguar my mom placed on a birthday cake long, long, ago...

HUSTLER!
If anybody here plays for $? Remember this face. Matt is the #3 son of my deceased best buddy David. He has a pleasant smile.
Don't let it fool you. ;) http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1157307531.jpg |

Stevo, that F car shows the lines I drooled over back in high school study hall. The cars that gave me an idea that a Corvette may not be the ultimate. Nice pic, thanks! :)

Yep! Matt plays shape extremely well. I once watched him practice straight pool. He would tell me where he expected the cue ball to end up after each shot. Usually, you could have covered the spot he pointed to with a 50 cent piece. He missed after making past 120....
(edit)...not in my wildest dreams will I shoot as good as Matt. He inherited good eyes and hand skills from his dad David...David was very competitive in nature, a great rifle shot. Thinking about it, good pool shooting and good rifle shooting involve some of the same basics. Matt is very dedicated to the game. No booze, no tobacco, no drugs are a given...but this kid won't drink pop or coffee, doesn't want the caffeine to influence him. His drink during marathon tounaments? Orange juice. |
