I believe the "magic see-through" hoods were first introduced by GM with the Olds. The cars were ordered and the hood painted, then installed (at the dealer level) to match the car for some show room eye candy. I don't think every dealer did it and the hood was discarded after the new year cars were sold-n-old.

They are extremely rare......................

Our pork-chop has the ol puma belly when he runs down the driveway. Kinda funny to watch as is sways back and forth. He is the only cat I've ever needed to take my welding glove with me to the vet. Yes, he is quite the butthead.

This fits his personality.
