I believe the "magic see-through" hoods were first introduced by GM with the Olds. The cars were ordered and the hood painted, then installed (at the dealer level) to match the car for some show room eye candy. I don't think every dealer did it and the hood was discarded after the new year cars were sold-n-old.
They are extremely rare...................... |
