Norwegian transport ship called the "Blue Marlin". Salvage crews patched up the Cole in the harbor directly after the attack, just to get it sea-worthy. Then it was brought out to deep water for the transport loading. Pretty cool how that sucker can fill it's ballast tanks to virtually "Sink" itself, then raise back up once in position (under the ship). Easier said then done though. It took multiple tugs and dive teams. Entire docking evolution took almost 24 hours.

Incidentally, the Cole was brought back to the US and repaired in 14 months. Over 550 tons of steel was replaced.

What happened to the Cole?

Here's what happens with a front load washer when you forget to put the clothes in...

Some people forget brake pads, some people forget clothes. It's all a matter of perspective...

jorian 09-25-2006 09:42 PM

Safer to forget clothes. More fun too.

Was it her car or did she trick you into working on her b/f's car? :)

That's kinda small considering current trends. Most 18 wheelers are running 22.5" rims these days - barely getting you into the "bling scene". I saw an Escalade with 24s over the weekend.

The roof line isn't directly a result of the tire/wheel combo, but rather a result of suspension lift and body lift.
