I love to see these jackasses that do stupid crap on their bikes on the freeway eat it. I figure a little road rash and a cracked bone or two are character building (and hopefully, good for common sense, but that's probably not likely).

Looks like a rat to me. I guess it could be a(n?) opossum.

Actually the first word was “Houston,” then “the Eagle has Landed.”

It's not a platypus, or a rat, or an opossum - although that is a traditional way of serving 'possum.

Look at them orange teeth.... I can't believe a bunch of grown men who don't know what a beaver looks like.

I know what a beaver looks like, just never saw one stuffed and roasted.

Most rodent type animals have huge front teeth. Without knowing, and just seeing a picture with little to no size reference and having been skinned and cooked (and without the big paddle tail), I don't think most folks are going to tell the difference.

I've never killed a beaver (and the ones that I've eaten didn't look anything like that). ;)

Possible I guess... but muskrats are kind of small.

I was (and am) judging the animal based on the teeth and the tail. Notice how the tail is wedge shaped, and look at the beaver in this pic below. Chop off the flat section of the tail and you have the same wedge tail as the critter in the roasting pan.
