Looks like a completely different structure to me.

Masraum, when I noticed the difference, I re-read what you posted and realized exactly what you meant.

The house in street view had changed from when you lived there.

I don't keep much pics around to post on this computer; but well, here's a little some thing from the kind of work I do.

My family were huge Sea Hunt fans.
Fun fact much of the show was filmed on the ocean just off Marineland.
Marineland has been replaced by the Terranea resort.
They have a bar/restaurant overlooking the ocean called Nelsons with pictures of LLyod Bridges hanging everywhere.

Thanks for the info, Scott! More fun facts.....the original Marineland (founded in 1938) is still in operation in Florida and is now called Marineland Dolphin Adventure. It's gone through several closings and re-openings after damage from storms over the years. I have a niece who works there as a staff biologist.

I remember going there in 1957 when my family visited all the "attractions" in LA like Disneyland and Knots Berry Farm.

amazing how theme parks these days have become so huge, and how little impresses folks these days.

Back then 2 seals and a ball, couple of dolfins , couple of fishtanks and a dude dressed up like a pirate with a parrot, voila, you had yourself a marine park.
