That memory or RAM picture sure brings back memories...…..you still had to squeeze your program in under 640K although there were some memory modifiers that would allow data to be stored above that!

Yea, the era of 640K limit was interesting. Like most things we ended up with two way to do it. extended memory or expanded memory (above 640K) We paid 5 grand for a two MB expansion card for out 6 MHz PC AT and DOS 2.0. The computer cost 5 grand and had a black background, yellow text. No graphics on that display.
