A guy in the next neighborhood (a contractor I think) has been remodeling this house for at least a decade. It started when he added an approx 2500 sq ft garage.
I was driving by the other day and I couldn’t believe he was still not finished. A house I looked at a few weeks ago has a similar saga. Homeowner got a house loan for home improvements that would update and fix up his old house. Instead he used the money to build a four car garage with a second floor. Now both projects sit unfinished and he's out of money.
