Two days ago I was reading the System Logs for the Apollo missions and turns out the calculations were done in Metric then a function to show the instrumentation in Imperial was added cause the astronauts were not used to Metric and felt weird describing things like speed and altitude in metric.

So, the computer programs and math were all done in Metric and talked over the air in Imperial.

Is it a magpie?

If he breaks up with her, this can be the next love of her life:

Crow. Actually I reckon it may be a Raven. They are normally larger than Crows.

Crows and Jackdaws are incredibly smart
Ravens supposed to be smarter at solving things and planning things
Jackdaws and Crows have a better social IQ, recognizing people for instance and remembering good folk from bad.
Jackdaws can be trained as pet, but they will be very jealous of cats and dogs once they attach to a human
