^^^^ Those must the rich kids from the back in the day trick or treating. I never got a real store bough costume. Dad would rip up one of my old shirts and smear some shoe polish on my face and say your are a hobo kid, have fun.
My brother and I would grab a pillow case and go trick or treating. On base was the place to be. 100% safe, kids everywhere, and every house had candy. When the pillow case got too heavy, run home dump the haul in the back of the closet, and go out again. Stay out until the crowds thinned out, and have more candy than any kid should have.
