Nothing but the truth...unless one plays as well as the guys pictured below, it pretty much applies to everyone. Blue collar golf...Pros like these play with equipment made by those who pay them the most to use it. The guy of the left, South Dakota's Shane Van Boening, plays with Cuetec...but he is currently ranked #2 on the planet.

When I was in high school I used to try my hand at pool but never got great at it. I did win a few things like this ladies sweat shirt at the SEAL bar in Coronado CA and she had nothing under it so we both got kicked out! Anyways we had a shooter in my home town in Delaware and his name was Charlie Loper and he only shot straight pool, no 9 ball, 8 ball, ETC. He would play for $25 per point and usually went to whoever got to 500 points first won, cash only. He would take "Bennies" and could play for 3 or 4 days straight w/o stopping! He used to say those pills made the pockets look as big as a peach basket! This was in '63 and '64 and then I went into the Navy. Great assimilation, Paul. Pool is much like golf, put the ball in the hole. Last time I played pool, I wound up with the love of my life. Knocked the 8 ball in on the break. Win or loss? Last hole in the last round of golf, driver, 6 iron, tap in eagle. Damn near was a 2.
