Stijn,

On my work computer I still have a picture posted on...I think Rennlist way back when of a phone dial with the lip polished but the whole center portion done in an anthracite medium to darker gray. It looks awesome. I really thought of doing that on my PD's but ultimately I thought they would look best on a white or black car. GREAT on a silver car.

Yeah, the picture that was listed with that 951 when I bought it showed the 993's in original factory silver. It looked good. The kid I bought it from did this highgloss powder coat right before I bought it. Every young guy liked it, I hated it.

No self-respecting white boy would be caught dead with those wheels on that car.

Yes, he's a white boy and has a sushi bar in his apt. He was trained at one of the only accredited sushi culinary schools in the states.

looks like good bait.

:D +1.

I will admit right here that I am a picky eater...so flame away. I won't try Sushi, it looks SO unappetizing to me.

When I see some food thing that is unusual? My first impulse isn't to put it in my mouth!

Just curious, what would you put on the Chevelle?
Cragar Five spokes?

Dan in Pasadena 01-24-2007 09:24 AM

I'd put on 17" Torq Thrusts or aftermarket 17" Chevy Rally wheels. To me, everything else looks kida wrong. Honorable mention to the Craigers though. When I was a kid EVERYTHING had those on them.

BRPORSCHE 01-24-2007 09:25 AM

I really like the American Racing rims that I see on a lot of 'stangs.

Slider79SC 01-24-2007 09:25 AM

Torque Thrust would have looked more period correct but I do like a lot of the wheels that Chip Foose creates...

Oh yeah...for sure those are the right ones.

efhughes3 01-24-2007 09:33 AM

Rally wheels. The ones on there prolly are Foose wheels.
