I must have more pics of this bike! What is it, Moto Guzzi? I love the beat up look, very true to the art.

I have no idea. I found the pics on a photo hosting site. No story with them. And I didn't add the big red arrow.

Excellent! A cafe racer thread!

I just wish there was a more cost effective donor to get the transverse v-twin. I may have to make do with a XS650 or the like.

Bob Goding 01-23-2007 07:35 PM

Honda did one , CX500 and 650 ,"twisted twin"
Shaft drive too. They were pushrod and the cylinder orientation was twisted to get the induction away from the knees,
Water cooled tho.

i expect it to look a tad better, my l33t photoshop skills aren't l33t enough to make it 100% realistic... the area inbetween spoks is blacked out since the donor pic was of car, no brakes in em

I've seen a couple of black and red 944s with the same wheels in gloss black. I think they look fantastic. I'd have put them on my old 911 if it weren't for the fact that I already had Fuchs.

motion,

On the fresh water question, I would be willing to bet that there is a filtration system in that building next to the two tanks. The last resort we were at had an amazing filtration house that had clear glass side windows so that you could see all the plumbing and such.

This pic was taken after our last set through the course at the end of this summer.

Likely a desalination operation.

here goes, collegue has loads of "toys" at his desk
one of wich was a monkey called "lekker"

he's english , but lekker in dutch means tasty
but also means "hot" if referring ot a girl

regardless, he goes on biztrip
i nick his monkey
he comes back
i telll him the money is on a field trip , from office to office within the company...

each office , sent in pictures of "Lekkers" adventures

this is old stuff , but just found the pics back

first, Lekker went to Brussels

http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1169653490.jpg

from Brussels, he took off to Paris

http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1169653520.jpg

http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1169653533.jpg

London

he went to some expact boozefest called " the Church"
and obviously needed some local currency, no Euro's in London

Lekker then took off to Edinbourgh

http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1169653690.jpg

but still slightly hungover, it was a bit uneventfull

so buggered off to Stockholm

http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1169653732.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1169653739.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1169653748.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1169653756.jpg

this went on for 3 weeks or so, and we kept the idea that we actually sent the monkey around, when in fact it was just 10 feet away in one of our desks, we just had made collegues abroad score a similar monkey for this setup

Yes, he's a white boy and has a sushi bar in his apt. He was trained at one of the only accredited sushi culinary schools in the states.
