I have seen this photo before and if it is truly an actual event How come one does not see the reflection of "fire" on the fuselage skin?

The plane is landing, not taking off. I agree that it could be a photoshop. There are no reflections as stated.

As noted by slodave supdaf, if you look closely you'll see the "explosion" isn't reflected in the fuselage, instead you can see the original engine reflected - with no flames:
