These pics were taken by a buddy of mine in Feb 2005.
Here is the Coker for Suncor Energy that Premay delivered from Edmonton to Ft. McMurray. Supposedly it is the heaviest load ever transported in North America. On Jan 17, the Suncor coker went through Ft. McMurray - Trailer has 800 tires. Largest load that has ever travelled on an Alberta highway. - travels 10 - 15 KMH - seven Premay tractors - three pulling and four pushing - most tractors were tri-axle - 1.7 million poundshttp://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1170806739.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1170806755.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1170806770.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1170806791.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1170806814.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1170806826.jpg |

The truck in my pic needed a better driver. Why we where called out was because the driver downshifted with a heavy foot. Ripped the driveshaft out from the truck. The state police where a lttle worked up with it sitting on a country road on a hill and night coming.
