Apparently the autopilot put em on the rocks - and I imagine the salvage company got sued too - fools - it sure didn;t look like the boat was banged up that bad to where they couldn't have kept it afloat when they got it off the rocks. pretty stupid if you ask me...

It looks to me like a larger sump/crankcase for a flat 4.

Cool chart. But I would NEVER consider a weiss beer anywhere near "brown". Have you ever seen a Hoegaarden? They are practically cloudy white! Even darker weiss beers, such as Unibroue's offerings, are barely orange.

Still, it's a great style; one of my favorites (except for Hoegaarden)

Me, on Tuesday.

A deep sump for a 911.

This was part of a package that Jim Busby developed while Andial were doing the engines for his 1975 RSR. It was to remove the proximity of the oil from the Crankshaft to prevent centrifical gathering of the oil mass around the crank. It also was run in conguntion with one way gulp vlaves (2) positioned in the Header collector to create crank case vaccum. I think Jim Mcfarllin was the mentor in this exercise. I forgot Pete Ingcognuto made angle port inserts for the heads that tended to straighten out the ports, It was quite a eleborate modification with a Schrick cam. After it was all said and done and worked the parts were labled with the Andial logo.
